RaiseRight

Earn money with each latté, tank of gas, or grocery run. RaiseRight is the easiest fundraising program you can use to benefit your Grand Ledge music student.

RaiseRight is a gift card purchase program. A percentage of your purchase is rebated: half goes to GLMBA, and half is placed in your student’s reimbursement account. Some physical cards, like Meijer, are reloadable, so you don't have to keep buying them. Many companies also offer electronic gift cards. The RaiseRight app makes it easy to find and purchase e-cards while on the go — download it in the Google Play or Apple store. There are many gift cards available, from restaurants and grocery to department and big box stores.

EXAMPLE: Purchase a $100 Meijer gift card. Currently, there is a 3% rebate on Meijer cards, so $3 is sent to GLMBA: $1.50 goes into your reimbursement account and $1.50 goes to GLMBA. While that does not sound like much, the amount grows as more people use the program and as you buy groceries week after week.

To enroll: Please complete the RaiseRight agreement at https://forms.gle/zTZ4bFVj74WS3pwU8

Upon submission of this form, a link and enrollment code will be shared with you to enroll.

Expense Reimbursement

RaiseRight funds placed DIRECTLY into the students GLMBA account can be used for private lessons (less any GLMBA reimbursement), music camps, uniform rental, school sponsored band/choir trips, solo & ensemble fees, etc.

It CANNOT be used for purchases of instruments, instrument supplies, uniforms/dresses/shirts/pants, etc.

To collect reimbursement for eligible expenses, please download and complete a form. Return your reimbursement form and a copy of your paid receipt to the GLMBA boxes in the middle or high school band rooms. Reimbursement request forms can also be emailed to treasury.glmba@gmail.com

NOTE: Reimbursement requests are limited to expenses incurred in the past 12 months.
